Welcome to the GolfBlogger’s Golf Wiki!
The Golf Wiki is a wiki, like the famous Wikipedia, in which members can add and edit articles.
To browse the Golf Wiki, you should probably begin with the Categories Page As best as I can, I am trying to keep articles organized by category.
If you can’t find what you want, you might try the search function.
To add to the Golf Wiki, you first must register. I collect email addresses, but only to keep out the spammers. Don’t expect to get any advertisements from me.
Once you’ve registered, when you look at a page, you will see the “edit” link. Clicking on that will bring up a form in which you can add to, or edit the existing page.
Links within the site are created by putting the page name between two sets of straight brackets.
To create a new page of information, enter a page title in the box to the left. This will create a new page. You can then click “edit” to add information to it. At the bottom of your page, add a category tag so that the page is indexed. Use an existing category if appropriate (look in the categories page), or if necessary, create a new category.
To create a category, use the following syntax”
[[Category:category name]]
To create an external link use the following syntax
[url=http:yourwebaddress.com]Link Text[/url]
To make something bold, or to change font size or color, use standard html tags.

Here are a few things you could add to the site:
Information on golf courses in your area.
Biographies of PGA Tour players, past stars and significant figures in the history of golf
Information on PGA Tour Tournaments
Information on equipment and equipment companies
Golf Tips
If you add information on a course in your state, add the following to the bottom of the article:
[[Category:State Name Golf Courses]]
If you add information on a Tour player add the following to the bottom of the article:
[[Category:PGA Tour Players]]
Add Category:equipment, Category:Tips and so on to the appropriate articles
You don’t have to add a complete article. One of the nice things about a wiki is that if you add a little information, others will (theoretically) come along to add to that.
