Golf Fashions of the Early 1900s

The Zurich Classic did a neat thing this year called the 100-Year Challenge. A group of Tour players, dressed in 1912 apparel played three holes (1, 8, and 9) in an exhibition with hickory shaft clubs. The event was in honor of Zurich Insurance’s 100 years in business in the US.

I would have liked to see that.

  • Some of the players looked so natural in those clothes, especially Luke Donald. He looks like he is straight out of the former era.
