Has anyone played with the uniflex shaft?  I have stiff shafts in my irons, but the X20 irons come with the uniflex shaft. I was wondering if people who hit stiff shafts like the uniflex shaft?

Thanks

The Callaway stiff (or firm) graphite vs the Steel Uniflex?

I was playing with X-14s with the Callaway Firm graphite shafts, and then bought a used set of Big Bertha irons last year with the Uniflex steel shafts-- I hated them- sent shockwaves through my arms.  I traded the Big Bertha’s soon after for new X-20s with Callaway Stiff graphite shafts.  I love those.  I have heard from many people that Callaway Stiff and Firm is not comparable to many of the other Stiff shafts, that they have more flex.  Probably so.  I know in my X-Hot 3-wood, and my X-460, I have non Callaway (but factory installed) stiff shafts, and both clubs, even though they are the longest in the bag seem stiffer than the irons and hybrids with Callaway Stiff.

I do play with the standard steel shafts in my wedges (my 51, 54, 56, and 60) 0 and before anyone asks, they are all in my bag right now, but I am reconfiguring.  When I am done, I anticipate just having my 54 and 60 with me (and my P, which is part of the X-20 set with graphite).  My 56 which is the oldest club in my bag, I have loved a long time, but with the hard turfs and thick sand at my club and elsewhere in western Tennessee, a 56 with 13 bounce is not too good, so my new 54 with 10 degrees is replacing it, and my 60 with 9 degrees which I got right after Christmas is working out great.
