While watching the Buick Invitational this afternoon I noticed Ryuji Imada line up his putt from behind the ball on 17. Ryuji then while walking to the other side of the hole reached down with his putter head and tap something down in his line. Looked like he was tapping down a spike mark. He hit a great shot in and made the 3.5 ft putt. I didn’t see if it was a ball mark he was repairing. I saw the shot in and it wasn’t his ball mark.
I was expecting a re-shuffle of the final finishing order with the penalty but I guess no one else spotted this possible infraction.
Where was Slugger.
