I’ve only owned one set of irons with graphite shafts, Tommy Armour 855’s I think they were. Years ago. They felt good, but shot the ball to the moon. I suppose it was the kick point location, but I never went back to graphite iron shafts. Just kept using stock s300 shafts. It seems there’s a great deal more to consider nowadays, even if I stay with steel. I’d like to know what other people are using/what’s choices are out there, etc.
I have a set of irons with Rifle graphite irons, but ultimately felt that they were too light. With them, I felt i had a tendency to swipe at the ball.
