Hello Folks! Please allow my first post to be somewhat selfish. It would be greatly appreciated if you guys (aaaaand girls) would kindly (or unkindly) critique my patented golf training aid. It is the ONLY golf training aid that projects a laser-dot from the putted golf ball; as a means to “precisely” indicate the true and indisturbed trajectory of each putt. The putted golf ball does not travel; therefore, it is not subjected to any “ground-effect” or physical disturbances enroute to it intended path. The projected laser-dot represents the exact-center of the putted golf ball, and is accurate to within 2 inches at 100 feet. I,e; using a putting pendulum to test the accuracy/validity of the representative laser-dot. The laser-dot does not deviate more than 2 inches from the fixed-impact-trajectory (putt) imposed upon the golf ball by the pendulum for a 100 foot putt (or 1/2 inch @ 25 feet). This degree of representation ( which is purely cause and effect -NOT A COMPUTER SIMULATION) is equivalent to evaluating your putting on a perfectly level glass-surface ( hard real-estate to find). So! If you are a discerning golfer, and would like to truly evaluate your pure linear putting ability, as well as (perhaps for the first time), notice minute tendencies/prone behavior that is normally obscured by the greens - then this would be a great product for you. NOTE: Many like to say - “we don’t putt on perfect surfaces...so why would I want to practice with such a device?” Ans: All golfers’ must first learn to putt “perfectly” as a prerequisite. Hence, reading the green for: undulations, speed, obstacles, etc, is a separate and secondary skill consideration. Just as a “SHARPSHOOTER” cannot evaluate/improve upon his “pure linear shooting accuracy” in HIGH-WINDS (or moving vehicles). Simply put - “balls and bullets” need to go where YOU want them to go. The device eliminates “ball chasing”, dinged-up walls and furniture. This is because the golf ball does not travel. Simply reset and putt..and putt. The device utilizes colored targets at which to putt at. The targets can be placed anywhere within view at various distances/locations. It also doubles as a great multi-player competetive golf GAME. Anecdote: We like to play “OUT”, “AROUND-THE-WORLD”, “HORSE” (popular basketball games) using the colored targets. I currently have picture on a webpage at: http://shop4patents.com/patents/laserput.php (this shows only one version). Or, you can see it on ebay (patent for sale). Item # 170081873685. Please let me know what you think. Thanks in advance, Todd. Email:
