A big Thank You to the GolfBlogger for the great info you provide!
I am a 2nd year beginner and fine your site very helpful and right to the point.

I apologize if this is not the area to ask these questions but, I am still learning where to go on your site.

1)Living outside of the chicago land area I still play when the weather is in the 30’s, can you help with what type of layered apparel might be good? (I find that the major golf store’s carry rain and wind clothes but, nothing to keep you warm.)

2)Can you recommend a resort approx. 3hrs driving time from chicago, that has somthing for the wife and daughter to do and myself to play golf? (In Michigan).

Thank you.

This is the right place.

1) I wrote a short piece on cold weather play some time ago. It’s here

I plan on expanding that in the near future. Keep your eyes peeled.

2) The Double JJ Ranch in Muskegon gets a lot of good press. I’ve not been there, but its on my list. And it looks as though there is a lot to do there:

I’m glad to have you on board as a reader. Please pass the word about the site!
