Campbell’s Putting Saves The Day

PGATOUR.COM - Putting powers Campbell's run Campbell's stats for the week Stat Number (Rank} Driving Accuracy 69.6 % (T33) Driving Distance 294.4 (15) Putts per Round 25.8 (1) Putts per GIR 1.633 (2) Campbell's putter was clearly the hottest this week at Bay Hill -- ranking first and second in the field in the two major putting categories.
The old saw "Drive for show, putt for dough surely applies here. While neither his accuracy or distance would have put him even in the top 15, Campbell's putting secured him a victory. If he can keep this up, he may very well have a good shot at a green jacket on Augusta's tricky greens.
