Musey’s Hole In One

Musey’s Hole In One offers the relatively unique perspective of a female golfer. Unlike most male golfers, as a high school girls golf coach, I welcome the presence of more women on the course. And I welcome a female voice in the golf blogging world.

MJ On Golf

Golf Blogging appears to be a niche category. While there are thousands of sites on politics, and the arts—even “cat bloggers” who put up pictures of their felines—there are only a few of us regularly writing stuff about the finest game ever invented.

MJ On Golf is one of this rare breed. And it’s a site worth taking a look at. I particularly like the wednesday golf jokes feature.

Golf Push Carts dot Com

One of the things that interests me about the internet is that it makes possible stores wth an extremely narrow focus. GolfPushCarts dot Com is an example. There is absolutely no way that a store that sold only golf push carts could exist in the brick-and-mortar world. But because the internet lets an entrepreneur market to tens of millions at minimal cost, a crazy idea becomes a viable entity.

Tee Time Golf Guide

If you live in the Mid-Atlantic, you might want to check out the Tee Time Golf Guide. It

features articles and photos that provide golfers with a preview of the golfing experience at scores of fine courses throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia. At the end of each article the location, contact info, dress requirements, and pertinent information are provided. Golfers enjoy the option of a printer friendly page to take with them on their trek to the course, or a tool to forward an email link to their golf buddies.

Online Golf League Management

Golfleague.US offers an online solution for managing your golf league that:

allows an administrator to display handicaps, points, schedule matches, plan yearly golf league activities, communicate with members and generally make the tedious job of running a league easier. But it doesn't stop there; it also allows members to view this information and to communicate with other members. At any time a member can see handicap and point changes and find out how individual and team standings changed after the last round.           GolfLeague is a fully functional and currently free online golf league administration tool. You can register and create your league with it's own password protected member area and, in less than 5 minutes, you'll be looking around in your new member area.

Sugarbush Snappers Blog

Golf Blogs are turning up everywhere. It seems that, for once in his life, the Golf Blogger was AHEAD of the curve. Here's one from the Sugarbush Golf Club Snappers.

I actually have gotten a lot of mail from people lately, asking hwo to start a blog, and how to generate traffic. To start one, you should try out one of the free blog sites, such as Blogspot, or maybe the new Microsoft one. You don't want to put money into it until you are sure that you can sustain the writing. Blogging is, after all, all about writing.

This leads me to the second piece of advice. The way to generate traffic is to keep writing. The more content that you have, the more there will be for Google, and the other search engines to pick up. And getting noticed by the search engines is a major part of generating traffic.

GEL Ruby Putter Grade: A- Teacher’s Comments: Putts as true as any I have ever used. Few ever notice, but when a ball is struck by a putter, it gives a little hop, then skids for a moment before starting to roll toward the hole. The hop…
