Goodbye Bo

It seems to me that the whole of Michigan is in a state of shock over the death of Michigan Football legend Bo Schembechler on the eve of the biggest Michigan-Ohio State game in decades.  Mrs. Golfblogger, who is a Michigan football fanatic, says that she just feels sick.

Bo’s passing kind of takes a bit of the fun out of the game.

The last time Michigan and Ohio State met undefeated and untied was in 1973—under the commands of Woody Hayes and Bo Schembechler. That game ended in a 10-10 tie.

Tomorrow it seems, Woody and Bo will be watching big game together.

Man Plays Every Scottish Golf Course

In 1983, Ernie Payne set out on a mission to play every Scottish golf course—all 578 of them. Now, 23 years later, he has completed his quest.

His journey began at Muirfield and ended at Kingsbarns Golf Links—and cost him some $37,000.

You have to admire his dedication.
