Archie Grand Notebooks Review

Archie Grand Notebooks
Grade: A

Archie Grand is a Swedish company that makes a very cute line of blank writer’s notebooks for every occasion, hobby and livelihood. Each is titled [Insert] I Met and Liked.  There’s Academcis I Met and Liked, Capitalists I Met and Liked, and of course, Golfer’s I Met and Liked. In all, I counted sixty-two different “titles.” You can see the full list of notebooks after the jump below.

Each notebook measures 115mm x 165 mm and contains 160 uncoated, lightly textured, and slightly off-white pages. They’re oversewn and bound in a hard cover. It’s quite sturdy and should stand up to a lot of abuse.

I love small notebooks and keep several running for various projects. My usual model is the large Moleskine ruled notebook, but in truth, they are not as sturdy as this Archie Grand notebook.

I’m putting my “Golfers I Met and Liked” into a pocket of my golf bag. It’ll come in handy for taking notes on the clubs I play, and for just jotting down the story ideas I get while out on the course. I also think they’d make a fine gift for that person who already has everything.

Golf Is A Funny Game Calendar

Golf is a Funny Game 2009 Wall Calendar

Most of the golf calendars I see are comprised of nothing but photos of spectacular golf scenery. That’s not bad ... in fact, I have one in my classroom. But it does get a little tedious.

Here’s one that’s a little different.
