I spotted this ad for a Dairy Queen ice cream cake. Yumm. That’s what I want for my next birthday.

Golf Is A Funny Game Calendar

Golf is a Funny Game 2009 Wall Calendar
Most of the golf calendars I see are comprised of nothing but photos of spectacular golf scenery. That’s not bad ... in fact, I have one in my classroom. But it does get a little tedious.

Golf Afghan Throw

Golf Balls Clubs & Tees Argyle Afghan Throw Tapestry Blanket
In a Michigan winter, you can’t have too many blankets and throws. As I write, I’m sitting in my La-Z-Boy with a fleece thrown over my feet (of course, the fact that I’m cheap and keep the thermostat low has a lot to do with that).
The problem in my house, however, is that Thing One and Thing Two are forever stealing the blankets to make chair forts. But if I had one that clearly said “this is Dad’s” then maybe I’d have an easier time of it.
This golf themed afghan would clearly say “This is Dad’s.”

Samsonite Golf Trunk Organizer

Samsonite Golf Trunk Organizer
I desperately need one of these. The back of my Subaru Forester is a horrible mess most of the year, with a couple of pair of golf shoes, spare clothes, balls, tees, etc.
It’s so full of golf stuff that Mrs. Golfblogger calls it my “Pro Shop.”
I’ve tried to keep it all contained in a couple of canvas tote bags, but that’s a losing effort. What I like about this model—as opposed to a few others I’ve seen—is that it has room for two pair of shoes. When I’m playing every day in the summer, I like to rotate my shoes. That gives the interiors more time to dry and rebound.
