Dumb Golf Thieves

A trio of golf club thieves in Australia were caught when they tried to pawn a set of clubs in a local proshop. Unfortunately for the thieves, the shop was owned by the father of the golf pro that they had stolen the clubs from.

Homeless Man Attacks Another With Golf Club

Wilmington, Deleware police arrested a homeless man for assaulting another with a golf club. The victim was said to be bleeding profusely from a head wound.

No word on what club he used.

Evolution of The Golf Cart

A retirement village website has an article on how golf carts have evolved over the years. I’ve heard that in many of these places, people use golf carts to get around—go shopping and such in place of cars.

I’d love to get confirmation on that one.

Skywalk Golf Tournament

Billed as the world’s largest indoor miniature golf tournament, the Skywalk Golf Tournament in Des Moines encompases three 18-hole miniature golf courses laid out along the city’s skywalk.

It’s being held on Feb. 4, 2006.
