Golf doesn't have to be expensive. There are plenty of high quality, inexpensive clubs, balls and other gear. Companies such as Pinemeadow Golf, low priced brands such as Pinnacle and TopFlite and bargain courses can make the game accessible to nearly anyone.

Twilight Bargains At Stonebridge

Hireko’s Acer XP 905 Pro Iron

Acer XP 905 Pro Iron

Acer’s 905 XP Pro Irons are designed for low- to mid-handicappers who want reduced offset for workability and low ball spin. Cast from stainless steel, the clubs have a deep undercut cavity and a heel to toe notch. The strong perimeter weighting offers a high moment of inertia for forgivability. Meanwhile, Hireko says, the low center of gravity creates a higher launch angle and more solid feel at impact.

Starting at just $6.95 a club, the XP 905 Pros are a great bargain. And like all Hireko clubs, they come with a 60 day playability guarantee.

Hireko Golf’s Synchron SP-6 Fairway Woods

image

Synchron SP6 Fairway Wood

The Synchron SP-6 fairway woods feature a two rail crown that is designed to both provide improved alignment, and reinforce the crown for greater strength at impact. The reinforced crown is supposed to flex less, and thus transfer greater energy to the ball. The sculpted sole design reduces turf drag to make shots off of all course conditions that much easier.

Hireko says that these clubs are designed to offer the technology of the Cobra HS9 clubs, at a fraction of the price. Hireko also offers a 60 day guarantee, so you can try without risk.

Pursuit s510 True Forged Wedge

Pursuit s510 True Forged

A lot of the guys I know play with cast cavity backs, but insist on forgings for their wedges. There’s just something about the feel of a forging that helps many players develop that “touch” around the greens.

The Pursuit s510 is a five process forging of 1035c carbon steel. And you can’t beat the price: $37.20

Like all GigaGolf products, this one comes with a 30 day playability guarantee.

Callaway HX Hot Logo Overruns

I think that the HX Hot is the best hall out there for mid handicappers like me. It’s long and decent around the green.

Now, Golfsmith has a great deal on Callaway HX Hot logo overrun balls.  They’re just $18.99 a dozen.

You can read my review here.
