Synchron Medic Driver

Hireko Golf’s Synchron Medic 460cc Titanium driver has a wide body profile that redistributes more weight toward the back of the clubhead, resulting in greater moment of inertia for improved accuracy. But Hireko says that the main feature of this head can be found in the construction of the head by moving the weld further behind the face. Known as Cup Face Technology, the ball velocity off of the face is increased across then entire face resulting into a larger sweet spot for maximum distance even on less than perfect shots.

This club is a bargain when you compare it to ones with similar technology from name brand manufacturers. You can get one from Hireko for as little as $80. And it comes with a 60 day satisfaction guarantee.

Hireko Golf’s Dynacraft Prophet CNC Forged Iron

Dynacraft is an old-line component designer and manufacturer that recently was bought by Hireko Golf.

The new Dynacraft Prophet CNC iron is produced with a new technique where it’s stamped from a billet of 1020 carbon steel into an oversized, overweight head. CNC milling is then used to cut the blade into the exact shape needed. The technique allows the creation of a forged blade with an undercut cavity that generally is found only in cast heads. The result is a true game-improvement forged blade.

You can get them as components, or assembled, and they come with a 60 day satisfaction guarantee.

Hireko Acer Mantara Driver

This year, it’s all about geometry. Square drivers, hexagonal drivers, triangular drivers—and now, Hireko Golf’s Acer Mantara Driver: a driver shaped like a manta ray.

The purpose of all of this geometry is to move the weight to the perimeter of the clubhead. This increases the moment of inertia (resistance to twisting) for straighter, more accurate shots. Moving the weight low and back creates higher launch conditions.

The Mantara is a 460cc titanium driver head that comes in 10.5 and 12 degree lofts. It’s one degree closed, making it easier to close at impact than square or open faced drivers. The downside is that it may be slightly more difficult to “work” the ball.

I don’t need to work it. I need to stripe it down the middle.

You can get the Mantara for as little as $89, custom built to your specifications. The club comes with a 60 day satisfaction guarantee.

Hireko Golf’s Dynacraft Avatar Offset Titanium Driver

Dynacraft is an old line component club manufacturer, perhaps most famous for its early hybrid, the Jackaroo. I’ve built several Dynacraft woods and iron sets over the years and really enjoyed them—so much so that I once made a trip to visit the factory showroom in Newark, Ohio. The company now is owned and distributed by Hireko Golf.

The new Dynacraft Offset Titanium Driver uses cup face technology that moves the weld away from the club’s face. The effect of this, Hireko says is to increase the spring effect over a huge section of the club face. This should produce better results on those inevitable off-center hits.

The 460cc clubhead has an elongated shape and an internal weighting system that shifts weight back for a higher launch angle and more distance. Finally, the club’s offset will help a player close the clubface at impact, reducing the distance-sapping slice.

Hireko offers a 60 Day Satisfaction Guarantee.
