GigaGolf Ozzy 460 Ti

Ozzy 460 Ti

The Ozzy is a 460cc club with a low profile and large footprint that’s constructed of 6-4 forged titanium. The larger head size is going to produce a greater moment of inertia, so that off center shots still will produce decent results.

When you order from GigaGolf, you can customize your clubs with a variety of options, including shaft and length, grip and grip size. And all GigaGolf clubs come with a 30 day playability guarantee.

Dynacraft Avatar HL Iron

Dynacraft’s Avatar HL irons are designed to produce a higher launch angle, while maximizing stability. To do this, they feature an elongated blade length to expand the club face’s sweet spot. Weight has been moved both toward the toe and to the rear. A wide sole completes the design, 9offering cleaner shots to high handicappers, and those with a more sweeping swing style, such as higher handicappers, seniors and ladies.

Hireko Golf offers these Dynacraft irons either as components, or as assembled clubs. They come with a 60 day guarantee, so Hireko is pretty confident that you’re going to like them.

I find it interesting that many club designers—such as those at Ping—now are moving more weight toward the toe to offset the generally heavier hosel area. A few years ago, the trend was to move weight to the hosel. That was supposed to help players close the clubface and promote a draw.  Now, it seems that a different dynamic is in play, as designers seek to stabilize the head rather than promote a certain flight pattern.

Acer XDS Wide Sole Hybrid

Its probably fair to say that hybrid clubs occupy a spectrum running from fat irons to small woods. The Hireko Acer XDS Wide Sole hybrids decrease the volume of the clubhead as loft increases. Still, they’re generally on the woods side of the hybrid spectrum.

Hireko says that the rearward center-of-gravity of this hybrid design is enhanced by the rails at the soleplate to help you power through the grass and prevent ‘digging’ at impact for better quality contact with the ball. A leading edge well forward of the hosel helps to create more lift and a higher launch angle.

Hireko offers custom fitting online, allowing you to choose a shaft, flex, grip, grip size, and length. They’ve also got a 60 day guarantee that makes buyign from them risk free.

PowerPlay System Q Hybrid Iron

image

Hireko Golf’s System Q Hybrid has a tri-port weighting system that Hireko says allows for a lower, deeper center-of-gravity and increased MOI. In addition, the three interchangeable weighted screws can be configured to encourage straight, draw, or fade trajectory. Unlike other hybrids, these are available in #2 through the sand wedge, so you can replace your entire set of irons with easy to hit hybrids.

Hireko Golf’s Oxygen Type X 460cc Offset Driver

The Oxygen Type X Offset titanium driver is designed to help the mid to high handicapper get the most off the tee. With a 460cc head—the highest allowed by the USGA—the Type X offers a gigantic sweet spot. This means that you will get better results even with off-center hits.

The club also features an offset hosel, which pushes the center of gravity further behind the shaft to allow the head to square more easily.  Internal weighting inside this model moves weight even further rearward to lower and improve spin rates for greater distance.

The Oxygen Type X comes with Hireko Golf’s 60 day playability guarantee, so you can try it without risk.
