Mantara XL Titanium Driver

Ozzy 460 Ti

I find it interesting that many club designers—such as those at Ping—now are moving more weight toward the toe to offset the generally heavier hosel area. A few years ago, the trend was to move weight to the hosel. That was supposed to help players close the clubface and promote a draw.  Now, it seems that a different dynamic is in play, as designers seek to stabilize the head rather than promote a certain flight pattern.
