Champions Tour Bank of America Championship Rained Out
Good heavens. I just turned on the Tivo and saw the deluge that was visited on the Champions Tour Bank of America Championship. They got more than three inches of rain on Thursday, and it hasn’t stopped since. This was on top of the 20 inches that they received in May; the area typically gets just 48 inches in the entire year.
There were ducks swimming on the fairways. I saw a flagstick in a lake. I am sure that I saw two guys building an ark.
See if you can catch some highlights on The Golf Channel. The pictures are amazing.
Palmer To Play In Senior PGA Championship
I had to check the date on this one to make sure it wasn’t an April Fool’s Joke.
Arnold Palmer says that—health permitting—he will play in next month’s Senior PGA Championship
That’s enough to make me watch the tournament. I don’t care if he shoots 62 or 162. He’s still the King.
