Despite a final-hole bogey, Scott edges Harrington by a shot to win the Players
Tiger Woods. Adam Scott. What's the link? Butch Harmon. Tiger was at his best when coached by Harmon. At times this weekend, I thought Scott's swing looked eerily like Tiger's of a couple of years ago. Maybe Mr. Woods should swallow his pride and head back to the swing guru.

Scott rebounds with a 69 to retake the a two-shot lead in the Players Championship
Right Back Adam
After falling back a bit on Friday, first-round leader Adam Scott rebounded in style on Saturday to regain the lead in the Players Championship. But even with a two-shot edge, he's in no position to be comfy, with several big stars right behind. (FULL STORY at PGA.COM)
On Thursday, Tiger was in danger in of missing the cut; now, he's just six back. I don't know why I root against the guy. At first, I was worried that I had some twisted racial bias thing going. Then a friend pointed out that I always root against the favorite in football games, too. I guess I just enjoy seeing people knocked off their pedestals. Of course, that opens me up to accusations of other kinds of twisted thoughts.

GEL Putter Review GEL Ruby Putter Grade: A- Teacher’s Comments: Putts as true as any I have ever used. Few ever notice, but when a ball is struck by a putter, it gives a little hop, then skids for a moment before starting to roll toward the hole. The hop…
