Golf is the gadget lover's sport. There are more golf gizmos than anyone can count: tees, and markers, stroke counters, range finders, ball retrievers, GPS systems, hat clips, sports seats, divot tools, groove cleaners, weight tape. You can't even begin to count them all.
Golfer’s Footprint

The Golfer's Footprint could be one of the more useful things I've seen. It sits on the ground and, while you stand over it, gives you a visual guide to the swing path. I know that when I'm hitting the ball well, I can visualize the club's path through the ball before I begin my swing. Having this one the ground when I practice could really ingrain the image into my mind.
They should send me one for a review.

Swing Machine Golf
Swing Machine Golf's Paul Wilson has used the Iron Byron's swing to develop a program for teaching consistency in the golf shot.

Star Caddy
Want to know EXACTLY how far it is to the hole. Star Caddy may be your ticket. The device combines GPS with course maps on your PDA to log your exact location.
My iron distances are not consistent enough to take advantage of knowing whether the pin is 153 and a half yards or 158 yards. But maybe yours are.

Brush-Ts Revisited: A Review
I’ve used the Brush-T for about 20 rounds now, and I have to say I like them. While they won’t fix a slice or a power outage, I think they do help in two areas:
First, I think they encourage me to use a sweeping motion with the club. When swinging, I have an image in my mind of "brushing" the ball off the top of the bristles.
Second, the ball is teed at at consistent height. I think this also promores better drives, since the ball is hitting the face on the same spot each time.
The result: I believe that my tee shots are more consistent, particularly with my three wood, which I hit long and straight. My driver still hits a high fade, but its a very consistent high fade.
There’s a lot to be said for consistency.
Overall: Recommended.

Protect from Sky Marks
So you bought a nice, new, $600 Taylor Made driver. And on your first tee shot, you popped the ball, leaving a nasty scratch that proclaims to all the world that you are a bad golfer.
No more. With the Pop Up Protector, you can coat your precious with a thin, flexible, glossy, transparent, thermoplastic elastomer that the manufacturer claims is scratchproof. Better yet: you can remove it when you actually get enough game not to pop the ball in the first place.

Hip Kaddy
The Hip Kaddy is an all-in-one organizer that straps on your belt or bag and carries balls, tees, pencil and divot tool. There's even a velcro strap to attach your glove.
Its pretty nerdy though. Kind of like a plastic pocket protector for golfers.
