The Golf Card - Lower Price and Free Golf Magazine Subscription
The GolfCard offers discounts at more than 3,600 courses, including free green fees at over 1000 courses and 2 for 1 at many courses. There are member courses in all 50 States and all Canadian provinces. There also are discounts at more than 240 resorts. This includes two fun courses in my immediate area, as well as many in Michigan’s resorts in areas like Gaylord.
You can also take advantage of a bunch of other membership benefits, but the main reason to join is to get the discounts. The nearly Rush Lake golf course—one that my teaching buddies really like—is just $15 on the weekdays with the card.
So if you play on a regular basis, you could save quite a bit.
This spring, the Golf Card is offering some new membership incentives:
First, the price of a membership has been reduced to $49 annually for a single and $89 for a double. And second, you get a year’s subscription to Golf Magazine.
Not a bad deal.
Nike Slingshot Irons Deal
The fall deals continue.
The original Nike Slingshot Irons got rave reviews when they were released. Now you can get them for $100 off, and pick up a free bag at the same time.
End of Season Deals on Clothing
This is the time of year when I do my shopping for NEXT season. Right now, The Golf Warehouse is offering lots of apparel, like the Adidas ClimaLite Polo for 40% off. Its easy shopping for me, since virtually every large shirt fits me, so there’s no need to try them on for size.
I’m planning on picking up some shoes on closeout, too.
Deal on Cobra Woods
The end of the season is a great time to pick up that equipment that you’ve been admiring all summer long. The Golf Warehouse currently is offering a deal on Cobra woods, including the 460 SZ Titanium Driver and the SZ Fairway woods.
TaylorMade Trade Advantage
When you buy a new car, you cut down on the expense by trading in your old one. Now you can do the same thing with your golf clubs. TaylorMade has a Trade Advantage program that allows you to swap your old set for a discount on new stuff.
If you don’t trade them in, you’re going to end up with a shed full of old clubs, just like the Golf Blogger.
