Vijay Yanks Phil’s Chain

That wacky Vijay. He’s at it again.
At last year’s Master’s, Vijay Singh asked for an inspection of Phil Mickelson’s spikes. And ESPN is reporting that he asked for an inspection of Phil’s driver at the FBR.
In addition, there’s the strong suspicion that Tom Pernice was acting for Singh when he asked for an inspection of Tiger’s driver at last year’s Bay Hill.
So what’s up with Singh? Has he joined those who are still aiming their laser sighters at the Grassy Knoll? Is it some version of a Fijan joke? or does he seriously think that people are cheating to get ahead?

If anybody knows anything about cheating, I suspect it would be Vijay. It is my understanding he is lucky to be on the tour with his past history.

I had forgotten about Vijay’s brush with the rules when he was on the Asian tour. That makes the whole thing a bit more ironic, doesn’t it.

I read recently that Phil is disliked by his peers, who have given him the nickname FIGJAM, which apparently stands for F*** I’m Good, Just Ask Me.

I do not like Vijay; he should play golf and try to win not be a jerk. If it does not warm up down here soon I will not like anyone.
