Tour Edge GeoMax Fairway Wood

Tour Edge Geomax SS Fairway Wood - RH Graphite

Tour Edge has long been a favorite company of mine because it doesn’t rely on sponsorships or heavy marketing to sell its clubs—just word of mouth about consistently good clubs.

The Bazooka Geo Max Fairway woods are a case in point. Tour Edge has given the clubhead the maximum possible breadth-to-face ratio, which shodl greatly increase the moment-of-intertia—resistance to twisting. This means that the ball will tend to stay on target, even with off-center hits. Tour Edge says that other weight shifting design tricks—including a 25 gram rear sole weight—have moved the GeoMax’s center of gravity lower and deeper than competing designs. To help increase ball speed, the face of the club is just 2mm thick.
