Titleist DT Solo Golf Balls 2010 - 12 pack
The Titleist DT Solo has been reworked for the 2010 season. Titleist says that it offers significant distance gains over previous models for golfers with average / moderate swing speeds.
That was the thing that attracted me to the ball when I reviewed it for the site all the way back in 2004.
What I’m wondering is if this is designed to replace the earlier Titleist DT Carry and DT Roll, which now have been relegated to the “other balls” section of the Titleist web site.

Somewhere I read that the new Solo was designed to replace the DT Roll and DT Carry. I recall the rationale provided by Titleist was they wanted a cleaner line-up of balls so as to not confuse the buying public by offering too many choices and options.
I must admit, new or changing ball names by all the manufacturers creates a dizzying array of products. It is hard to keep up.

Golf is a great game, I love every minute of it! I even play a great virtual golf game that is a great alternative if you can’t make it to the green. Check it out.
