Elin and I are delighted to announce the birth of our daughter, Sam Alexis Woods. Sam was born early Monday morning, June 18th. Both Elin and Sam are doing well and resting peacefully. We want to thank our doctors and the hospital staff for all fo their dedicated and hard work. This is truly a special time in our lives and we look forward to introducing Sam to our family and friends over the next few weeks. We thank everyone for their well wishes and continued respect of our privacy.
No word yet on length/weight, which is what Mrs. GolfBlogger, the L&D nurse, will want to know.
Congratulations Tiger. As the father of two, I can tell you that your life will never be the same again.

So is Elin going to complain when he is playing too much golf now?

I’d say it’s the media who will be complaining when Tiger isn’t playing ENOUGH golf to satisfy them. I look for Tiger to drastically reduce his already very selective schedule now that the baby’s here.
Notice the initials: SAW. When she’s tearing it up on the LPGA tour in about 18 years, there will be all kinds of headlines referencing her initials.
