Tiger Woods Is Out Of The Top 50

For the first time in 15 years, Tiger is out of golf’s top 50. His last victory was the 2009 Australian Masters.
I am not a fan of the World Golf Rankings—there’s too much emphasis on past performance for my tastes—but it is still significant. I wonder at what point the golf world simply stops caring about Tiger.
(But then, I’m guilty of media hype by virtue of writing this, aren’t I).
