Thorpe Owes $1.6 Million In Back Taxes

Champions Tour golfer Jim Thorpe has been charged with failing to pay $1.6 million in back taxes.
He should take a page from the playbook of several Obama nominees and simply claim he didn’t know he had to pay taxes.

I know someone whose significant other had H & R Block do his taxes and he got audited - the IRS fined him $4000.00 for his apparently wrong tax return. So, it may not be Thorpe’s fault.
