The GolfBlogger Skis
Michigan is a 12 month sports state, and when we can’t golf, we ski, snowboard, skate, snowmobile and ice fish. Dress for the weather and you won’t even know its cold out.
This is Mrs. GolfBlogger at the top of Boyne Mountain on our ski trip this past weekend.

Was this taken with a point-and-shoot? It doesn’t have the sharpness that some of your other photos have. Then again, it’s hard to photograph snow (at least I do, with my basic point-and-shoot) due to the lighting.
Did you let Thing 1 and Thing 2 loose on the indoor water park? I spent a weekend at Boyne the season they had opened the park. Oh yeah, I also did some snowboarding. Boyne being in Michigan, it doesn’t have the most awesome terrain, but you make the best of what you have.

It was indeed taken with a point-and-shoot—a Panasonic. I wasn’t enthusiastic about taking my Canon and its $800 lens up the hill.
Thing 1 and Thing 2 went beserk in the water park. It’s positively amazing.
Sure, Michigan doesn’t have the height of other places, but the skiing is fun nonetheless.
