The “Feels Like A Major” Cliche Pops Up Again

The cliche I most hate in golf broadcasting is “This tournament feels like a major.”
Apparently the cliche has now made its way to the PGA itself. PGA.Com has an online article titled “World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational has major flavor”.
The article gives the usual reasons: big purse, lots of stars present and a tough course.
