Swing Setter by David Leadbetter

The Swing Setter by David Leadbetter is the latest device that promises to fix your swing faults.
I tried it out at Golfsmith on Saturday, and I’m not sure that I get it. It has a molded grip to help you set your hands, and a couple of magnetized weights set at either end. The upper weight apparently is supposed to release when you set your hands in the proper position at the top of the swing, and the other is supplsed to release when you release your hands at the bottom.
I think.
I’m not sure what this teaches you that the more venerable Medicus Dual 2000 doesn’t.

I bought the product, but note that I am also taking lessons. As with any golf training aid, I have a hard time believing that it would be a replacement to lessons. But after just a few days with the product, my instructor was amazed at the improvements in tempo and in my release.
I’m not sure how much it has helped with the back swing, but I’m certain it is helping with the transition to the forward swing and with the forward swing itself.
Since using the product, I now find myself consistently hitting the back back of greens instead of coming up short - as my power is much more consistent. My 5i,4i,3i, and 3w have seen the biggest improvements in distance.

I tried using the swingsetter but i broke the tv and a glass cabinet, I also managed to hit the cat with it 14 times while practicing.. and it’s supposed to be an INDOOR trainer! If i ever see David Leadbetter i’m going to stick the swing setter right up his big fat arse.

is he skinny? oh.. he just appears fat coz i have a 94 inch super wide screen tv…
well wotever he is, sortly after the second click of the swing trainer he’s going to have it imbedded firmly in his arse
