Sweet Spot Finder
Last week, the Boys at The Sandtrap suggested (all in fun, I hope) that the Golf Blogger was overly in love with golf gadgets that could be made for a tenth of the purchase price. Now they, too, have fallen into the trap (pun intended).
The Sand Trappers suggest that a $25 gadget could be used to find a golf ball’s sweet spot. Its a good idea. But, to quote the Trappers, “"we’re economical (that’s slang for “not completely stupid"), so we advocate creating your own.”
Last April, the Golf Blogger published a post on The Check-Go and how it could be used to lower your handicap.
Even better: in the same post, the Golf Blogger showed how you can get the same effect with a cup, water and some cheap epson salts. To paraphrase the Trappers, let me say that now that you’ve saved roughly $23.99, well, buy yourself a dozen balls.
Of course, in the Golf Blogger’s world, golf gadgets are a heck of a lot more fun. It’s cool to watch this thing spin the ball around.
