Sun Mountain C-130 Cart Bag
SUN MOUNTAIN 2010 C-130 Cart Bag
The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is a legendary four prop cargo plane in use from the Korean War through the current day. It can carry 92 passengers, 72 combat troops or 64 paratroopers for a distance of 1,100 nmi (1,300 mi; 2,000 km), taking off and landing on short and unprepared strips, and staying in the air with with one engine completely shut down.
So its probably appropriate that Sun Mountain’s full-size cart bag is nicknamed the C-130. This cart-only bag has 14 full length dividers, an integrated top handle, molded lift assist handles and a putter tube. The top of the bag actually is set in reverse, with the short irons loading in front of the long irons and woods.
There are nine pockets, including an insulated beverage pocket, two velour lined valuables pockets and two full-length clothing sections. One of the clothing pockets incorporates a fabric tube for the umbrella. All of the pockets are facing forward while on the cart.
Non-slip rubber feet molded into the bottom help the bag stand securely on a riding cart.
The bag also comes with a pile of extras like a ball liner, dual pen holders, molded lift assist handles at top and bottom, dual towel holders and a rain hood.
Even better: in spite of all of this, it weights just eight pounds, making it easy to lug around.
It seems like a bag worthy of the C-130 name.
