Snow Golf

January 29, 2008

The India Times has a column on the newest craze: playing golf in the snow.

Of course, I know people who’ve been doing that in Michigan for years. It’s the only chance we’ve got. I know a guy from a local club who plays at least three holes every day of the year—sun, rain, or snow. It’s hysterical to see him tramping out in knee deep snow to the first tee.  He clears off a spot, sets down a flat rubber tee and swings away.

I have no idea how he finds the thing once it’s landed.
