Signs of Spring

The weather has warmed to the mid 40s and the snow and ice are melting. Spring and the new golf season are not far around the corner. This is a shot of the eighteenth, thirteenth, tenth and twelfth holes at the Washtenaw Country Club in Ypsilanti, Michigan. And a shot of the Lake Forest Golf Club in Ann Arbor earlier the same day:

Washtenaw Country Club?? Oh, you mean Polo Fields Washtenaw.
This transition has to be tough for a few of the long time members at Washtenaw. The sale certainly is better than seeing the club close. Still, when the sign comes down and the new one comes up, it has to hurt a little.
