Ryder Cup Predictions

September 29, 2010

I’m going out on a limb here and predicting that the US will retain the Cup.

What do you think?

  • Call me a turncoat, but I can’t stand the US Ryder Cup team.  I don’t know if it was their insulting celebration in the 1999 Ryder Cup after Leonard’s putt, the immature antics of Boo Weekley in 2008, or their perennial god awful uniforms, but I never root for them.  I hope they lose every Ryder Cup.

That said, I feel like they can win this year.  Europe plays well at home but I think the US rookies are better than the European rookies and the team will jell better than Europe’s.

  • Well you’ll have to excuse me on this one, being an Expat!
I really believe that Europe’s ‘Young Guns’ have been playing too well as a whole, consistently, in the lead up to The Ryder Cup.
I expect them to carry this forward, however, I am hoping for one of those nailbiter finishes.

    Best Wishes
