Promote Your Site or Product On Golf Blogger

March 31, 2004

GolfBlogger is one of the highest rated independent golf sites on the internet (based on its Google PageRank), with thousands of daily visitors. There are several ways to get a mention and promote your site or product on Golf Blogger:

1) Enter your website in the directory. The directory gets thousands of visits daily from people searching for a particular product. You don’t have to offer a return link, but if you do, you will be marked as a premium site, and will show up ahead of non-premium sites in the searches and listings.

2) Submit any press releases to the appropriate place in the Golf Blogger Forums. You’ll need to register first.

3) Link to this site and then send an email with the url of the link. In the email, send a description and a small photo of your product or service. If I find your golf site or product interesting, I’ll schedule a post in the near future. Use the contact form to contact me. Note, however, that I am not going to look favorably on scraper sites, or bogus directories. You need to actually have something to contribute to the golf world. I’m also not likely to link to a retail store.

4) Send a sample of your product, copy of your book, etc. for review. There’s no guarantee of a good review, but as you will see on this blog, I am generally a positive person—so you’ll get a more than fair hearing. How fast I review your product is another story ... if its a book, it may be a while, since my reading list is getting large. If it’s golf equipment, remember that I live in Michigan, and the weather affects my ability to do anything. (Although if there’s no snow on the ground, I usually do play no matter how cold it is).

5) You can get on the fast track for a review by purchasing one through ReviewMe! This does not guarantee a good review, but does get you moved to the head of the line.

You can send your items to:

Make sure you let me know via the contact form, that something is coming, and I’ll be in touch.
