Playoff Formats At The Majors

Since the US Open is going to be finished in an 18 hole playoff on Monday morning, it’s worth taking a look at the playoff formats for each the Majors:

The Masters has a sudden death.

The British Open Championship has a four hole aggregate score playoff.

The PGA Championship has a three hole aggregate score playoff.

The US Open has an 18 hole playoff, to be done the following day.
