Ping G10 Irons

Karsten Solheim was the John Hancock of the easier-to-play golf club revolution. And the Ping company was golf’s Sons of Liberty. The latest in Ping’s quest for easy to hit clubs are the new, stainless steel G10s.
The clubs have a number of features designed to make the game easier, including low toe weighting for forgiveness and stability and a wide sole that’s designed to increase the launch angle and offer more forgiveness upon impact with the ground. The now-standard cavity back allows redistribution of weight for a higher moment of intertia. The Custom Tuning Port, which made its appearance in earlier models, as been redesigned for more consistent ball velocity.
An interesting feature offered with the G10s is Ping’s “Ascending Weight Technology” in the shafts. The longer shafts are lighter, to increase clubhead speed and trajectory, while the shorter clubs have heavier shafts for a lower trajectory and more ball control.
You can get them at GolfSmith.
