PGA Show Attendance Down

In a sign of the times, attendance for the PGA Show this past week was down 4.5% and the organizers are happy.
Attendance at other industry shows apparently is down 30% - 40%. I’ll be interested to see how the Michigan golf shows are affected.

They still think the average joe or jane is going to pay those prices for clubs or the course.
I think they ( The Golf Industry ) should bite the bullet and start reducing the prices.

Pretty much the only golf equipment I buy new are balls, gloves and replacement grips. The last clubs I’ve bought have been “new”, as in un-used, but were substantially discounted to make room for the new “latest & greatest” stuff.
Coulb be a tough year or two for the golf industry.
