Oregon Mudder Men’s Winter Golf Boots

Oregon Mudders Men’s Winter Golf Boots CM700

I ran across these on Amazon and was intrigued. Given the muddy ground that accompanies thaws, these could be quite useful in Michigan in the Spring. I wonder, however, about how well they would work in practice. It seems to me that the ankle high leather and padding could cause some changes in the swing.

I’d love to try a pair of these to see how they work. More images below:

  • I’ve wondered about just using a good pair of hiking shoes/boots.  The tread on most are as aggressive as the new spike-less street style shoes.

In addition to the ankle confinement, I wonder about the height.  It seems to me that most of the hiking shoes have a thicker sole and foot bed.

    One way to find out.
