No TV Coverage of Tour Championship

Here’s an outrage: Channel 7 in Detroit is not carrying Saturday’s coverage of the Tour Championship. Instead, we have Wisconsin-Penn State. There’s not even a delayed telecast.
But it does illustrate why Tim Finchem’s new plan for the PGA Tour schedule is a good one: in the fall, golf is just not on the minds of sports fans.
Update:
I take it back. It’s even worse than I thought. It’s Michigan State - Purdue that’s preempted golf.
