Nike Lunar Control 2 Golf Shoes
NIKE Men s Lunar Control - White/Metallic Silver/Volt Black Golf Shoes
The weather outside is frightful, so I can’t do a playtest on the pair of Nike Lunar Control shoes that recently arrived in the mail. In the absence of visible grass I’ve been trying the next best thing: wearing them around the house. Mrs. GolfBlogger is not pleased, but I’m willing to risk it for my readers.
Based on the carpet test, these are a comfortable, well-fitting pair of shoes. There’s plenty of room in the toe box for my squarish foot, and the arch support hits in just the right place. I’ve done some practice swings with my Wii Chicken Stick, and they offer the stability I’m looking for.
I’ll give you a full walking test when the white stuff leaves the ground.
In the meantime, you might want to visit GolfLocker.Com for some great deals on Nike shoes.

I will be interested to know how well those wipe clean with that texture in the white areas. Looks like you could get lunar mud in there that would be difficult to extract.
I used to be all about Nike, and then I got a pair of SP-7 TWs which the eyelets where tearing on me way too quickly - I don’t understand not having a grommet to help the lace slide and not tear the eyelet hole. I did continue to enjoy my Nike Shox. But the Shox were discontinued and I started wearing Etonix spikeless.
Well I picked up a highly discounted pair of Nikes at Dicks before Christmas and are loving them. (it was on the 50% off retail table, and then that weekend, another 50% off - so I paid $40 for $160 shoe). These are great, and they do have grommets at the top, and the lace slides easily the full length. I will have to see the make, but I am sure it is last years anyway. Until the heat starts, these are super comfortable and waterproof. I will be shifting to a sneaker based once the 80s and 90s start up. I may be looking at the new FJ street shoes (kind of like low rise All Stars) - but I will probably go with the Ecco Streets (Freddie shoes). I have a friend who got the Eccos in October and wears them everywhere. He swears by them as the most comfortable for everything. He is big, 6-5 probably 230-240 - and says they are not wearing down the nubs at all.
