More On The Otsego Club Sale
The Petosky News has a more in-depth article on the sale of the Otsego Club
Two area golf resort properties owned and managed by Osprey Recreational Properties, LLC — the Otsego Club and Resort and Black Forest at Wilderness Valley — are scheduled to be sold in a sealed bid auction Oct. 5.
A third Osprey holding, the Manistee National Golf Resort, is also on the auction block as part of what Osprey CEO Mike Collins said is the opportunity to “streamline its portfolio and focus on its core commercial property interests,” which he said consist primarily of office and industrial buildings.
Collins said the Michigan and Florida-based company made the decision to sell off what it terms its “non-core assets,” meaning the three Michigan golf resorts, but intends to retain ownership of two other Michigan golf courses it manages in the Marshall and Kalamazoo areas..
