Mizuno MX 700 Fairway Woods
At the golf show this past weekend, I had a chance to take a long look at the Mizuno MX 700 fairway woods. Unlike last year’s F-60, which were a little bulbous for my tastes, these are lower profile and wider across the bottom, giving you a more area for contact with the ball. I like the look, and setting up with them inspired a great deal of confidence.
Mizuno says that the key feature of these MX700 Fairway Woods is a new thin, strong, lightweight ES230 steel, to increase ball speed off the face. And the design of course is tweaked to offer a low Center of Gravity and Moment of Intertia.
I like these, and they’re on my list should I need a new fairway wood.
