Mental Mondays: Stay Focused On Every Shot
Playing alone, as usual, I was paired with a father-son duo, both of whom were very good players. On nine, the son, playing from the back tees, hit a 300+ hard drive, pitched a shot to the center of the green, putted to within a foot—and then missed the putt. He missed the three foot combacker, too.
“That’s the thing about golf,” his father said. “The one footers count for as much as the 300 yard drive.”
That’s good advice. Don’t let your concentration waiver. Every stroke adds one to the scorecard.

Great advice,
I missed a one foot putt last Saturday in a teams event and didn’t think too much of it after the round.
We ended up losing on count back.
Every shot counts, that’s for sure!
