Medicus Swing Trainer

June 14, 2006

The Medicus has been one of the most popular—and some say effective—swing trainers ever devised. It has two hinges that are designed to “break” when the club is swung either out-of-tempo or “off-plane.” This provides instant feedback about what you’re doing with the club. If you swing it properly, the club will stay together and you can actually hit golf balls with it.

I have one and have found it to be effective—particularly in helping me to maintain an even tempo on the backswing and downswing.

  • I read a lot of positive reviews about Medicus and went ahead and placed an order directly through them - they send me the wrong order, charged me twice for something I didn’t want and I still haven’t gotten this corrected.  Their customer service is a nightmare, today they hung up on me.  I highly recommend going with the less expensive Refiner training club and if you do decide to buy this go on eBay - you’ll probably have a better experience.
