LPGA’s Young Stars Shine—But Not Who You Expected

April 26, 2006

Going into this year, LPGA officials insisted that its young stars would be the storyline.

And that prediction has come true. In every event this year, a player aged 24 or younger has finished either first or second. And none of them were named Paula Creamer, Morgan Pressel, Ai Miyazato or Michelle Wie.

ESPN has a good article on the depth of young talent on the LPGA.

I’ve enjoyed watching the LPGA this year.
