LPGA Season Begins In Fine Style

The LPGA Season began in fine style, with a playoff and its young stars in contention.
Joo Mi Kim birdied the second playoff hole to win over Soo Young Moon and Lorena Ochoa. Morgan Pressel and Natalie Gulbis shared fifth place, while Christie Kerr had a share of eighth. Paula Creamer was tied for 13th.
The Tour couldn’t have asked for any more. A young, telegenic star wins in a drama filled playoff over two other young, telegenic stars. And the young guns are all in contention.
Let’s hope the rest of the season offers more of the same.
