I wouldn’t have Phil that high. From the sound of his interview yesterday, I think he is being overly optimistic about what his condition will be for the Open, and especially for Memphis next week.
That injury to me sounds like that will nag him unless he lays up until it heals, if he tries playing or practicing with it in the next week and a half, he is going to have issues in the Open.
