Kirby Markers

I never paid attention to them before, but in doing some reading about golf course maintence, I discovered that those pyramidal yardage markers actually have a name. They’re called “Kirby” markers, after the company that makes them.

Good Evening, I was just wondering how Mr Kirby was doing. I was in Wisconsin (Blackwolf Run)and saw his markers. I had a chance to play a round of Golf with Mr Kirby at the Pelican Hill Course several years ago. He joined us as a forth and was most generious with his stories, purchasing hot dogs for all at the turn.. Hope he is well.
